FAQs

  • Do I need to do the marathon distance all in one go?

No! The benefit of this marathon is that you log the distance however you would like between 1st - 31st October 2025. Life is busy, there is barely time to train mid season, but this gives you the opportunity to get out and FEEL GOOD by having a goal both physically & mentally whilst giving back to charity as you do.

  • Will there be a chance to meet in person?

Yes! Whilst it’s up to you to choose how you cover the marathon distance in October, we will be hosting walk/hikes/runs in 10 locations globally. This means you can find community and join like-minded folks to have a chat with while getting out in nature.

Head here to find a location near you.

  • How do I log my distances?

We don’t monitor your distance, but in good faith hope you will log your miles accurately!

You can do so on strava - and we’d love to see you in the Marathon 4 Mental Health community club to spur each other on!

You can other see people’s progress around the globe that are doing so at the same time to motivate you!

  • How do I fundraise?

As part of your welcome pack you will receive a link to create a fundraising page under M4MH’s official fundraising platform Enthuse. This will allow donations to be deposited directly to ISWAN - our charity of choice. Find out more about ISWAN here.

  • We're a team/crew of more than 8 people - can we still participate?

Absolutely! The more the merrier. The distance & fundraising target scales with the number of people entered. We can tailor entries for large yachts/ teams. Please email hello@marathonformentalhealth.com outlining your team size and we will get back to you with all of the details.

  • What can we win if we enter as a team?

The team that raises the most money* for ISWAN will win Mental Health training with Seas the Mind and a full package for one year with Superyacht Fitness. Find out more about the prize package here.
Giving back never felt so good!
